Star Wars, Betamax, Sell-through tape, CBS/Fox Video USA, 1986 (?)
The cardboard box retains the same design and copyright date, but this "Version B"* has a different label, matching the design of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. I don't know if it is unique, but the label is oriented to the right on my tape. As all of these early releases, this one also uses a Scotch brand tape.
The box is the same on all pressings, therefore you can only tell the difference by looking at the actual tape. If you have a sealed copy, there is no way of telling which version you have without breaking the seal. This variation is so minor as not to be of importance to most people.
*The version-labelling is my own, for lack of something better.
Version "B"
I believe this to be a later issue of the 1984 release. The content of the tape is almost the same as the 1984 release, but without the "FOXVID" watermark, and the CBS/Fox intro has a marbled background instead of the plain blue on the 1984 release.
