Apart from Episode III, all the films are rips of the official NTSC DVDs, though recompressed to fit on single-layered DVDs. The image loses much of its original sharpness, and compression artifacts are prevalent. The motion menus are retained, but most of the bonus content and audio tracks are removed. The Options menu lists the Audio Commentaries as an extra, but they are not on the discs. The menus for the BD-ROM content are still there, but they have been removed also. Of all things, the THX optimizer feature has been retained on all the discs.

The main audio tracks are 5.1 English, but a second audio track containing a 2-channel Chinese dub is included on all films except Episode III and VI. The Chinese dub is not listed on the Options menus, nor are the English, Korean, Thai and Chinese subtitle tracks. Episode I, V and VI have Closed Captioned English subtitles in addition to the regular English.
