Star Wars Episode I, VHS, Widescreen Collector's edition, 20th Century Fox Video USA, 2000
|
This Widescreen version of Episode I is part of the Star Wars Episode I Widescreen Collector's edition. Though it does show up on its own, it was never released separately from the box set. (I originally had it listed as a standalone release too, as I had bought a copy separately on eBay, but the case does not have a separate UPC.)
The programme starts with a 14-minute behind-the-scenes documentary "Filmmaking has turned a corner", focusing exclusively on the Visual Effects innovations made during the making of Episode I. According to the back of the collector's box, this is an "exclusive" made specifically for this set. That is followed by a short "visit www.starwars.com" ad. The end of the tape ends with a logo for US tape replicator Technicolor. |
