Star Wars: Empire of Dreams Emmy Screener, VHS, A&E USA, 2005

This is a "Screener" copy of the 2005 documentary "Star Wars: Empire of Dreams". The tape came in a regular cardboard case, accompanied by a single-page leaflet.

The documentary is in 1.78:1 letterboxed widescreen, with English Hi-Fi Stereo sound. There are no copyright warnings or studio logos of any kind on the tape, just the 90-minute documentary.

Known as "screeners", free copies are sent to members of the Emmy academy to urge them to vote for your programme. Screeners are not supposed to ever reach the public, but I've seen quite a number of these on eBay over the years.

As you can see, this Star Wars documentary was submitted in the category of "Outstanding Nonfiction Special". There was also a DVD screener.
